Vancouver Shar pei Rescue has a wonderful 4 year old female Shar pei named "Sadie" needing a foster or adoptive home. She was rescued from a local shelter where she was going to be euthanized because she had a badly injured front leg. She was hit by a car over a year ago and the owner never took her to the vet, and over time her leg healed incorrectly. Vancouver Shar Pei Rescue rescued Sadie, and had the vet remove her injured leg. Now she is all healed up and has a second chance at having a wonderful happy life, as she deserves. Sadie is good with kids and she is good with cats. She has been living with another dominant female dog in her foster home, but we think Sadie should go to an "only" dog home, or perhaps a home with a male dog or submissive female. Sadie is very calm and easy going, she LOVES going for walks and hikes, and playing ball is her favorite thing, the fact that she has three legs does not slow her down one bit. If you are interested in Sadie then please feel free to visit our website: Also feel free to check our our Facebook page (search for Vancouver Shar Pei Rescue) If you would like a foster or adoption application then please contact us and request an application. Sadie's adoption fee will be $350 to cover some of the costs of her medical care and leg surgery. We are open to a foster home as well. Thank you.
